Senility Screens for Older Pets
We at Camden Valley Animal Hospitals believe one of the most important aspects of owning a pet is to have a healthy and happy relationship with it.
Many pets are abandoned at pounds or shelters because of a breakdown in the relationship. Worse still many more are banished to isolation in the back yard because of behaviour problems. These animals some times suffer in silence for the rest of their lives and it is particularly sad when dealing with older pets potentially suffering from Senility.
One of the best ways of determining whether or not your pet is suffering from a cognitive problem is to complete a consecutive Senility Screens regarding your pet's behaviour one month apart and having these assessed by us to see if there is a problem with your pet.
If you would like to do this please follow the link Canine Senility Screen or Feline Senility Screen and complete the screen.
When you have completed this it will automatically record your answers and it will send you a reminder in 30 days to complete the screen again.
Completion of the second screen then submitts the information to us so we can assess your pet and contact you with the results.
This is a complementary service for our valued clients and their pets please feel free to take advantage of it.
If you have any questions please ring the hospital on 46476199.
